Looking Glass' E3 Lineup
Date: May 11th
Looking Glass Studios' 1999 E3 lineup includes:
Flight Combat: Thunder Over Europe - This intense and realistic WWII air combat
simulation invites players to relive history, flying as an RAF, USAAF or
Luftwaffe pilot. Pilots choose from a large selection of flyable aircraft,
ranging from sleek, single seat fighters to multi-stationed strategic bombers.
Missions include intense dogfighting, strategic bombing, night fighting, naval
attacks and fierce air-to-ground combat. With authentic flight models, a
revolutionary 3D rendering engine, multi-player support, intense AI opponents
and a physics-driven damage system, Flight Combat: Thunder Over Europe
authentically recreates the life and death air struggle that took place over
Europe in the 1940's.
Flight Unlimited III - In this third installment of Looking Glass' popular
flight sim series, players are invited to experience the amazing sensation of
flying over the Pacific Northwest. Pilots can choose from 10 different aircraft
and soar above 10,000 square miles of photo-realistic mountains, waterways, city
streets and landmarks of the Seattle area. The rich and dynamic environment of
Flight Unlimited III also includes interactive Air Traffic Control, other AI
aircraft reacting to your movements, moving ground objects, richly detailed 3D
objects, flight instruction and flight challenges. The realism is further
enhanced by the most advanced weather system ever offered in a PC flight
simulation.
