Demolition Racer is a new demolition derby-style racing game being developed by some of the core
members behind the successful Destruction Derby series. The game uses a new driving engine that
allows hoods, tires, doors and various other car parts to fly off as drivers race on circuit courses and in
bowl matches scoring points for inflicting damage and chaos on the road. Two-player split-screen will
enable multiplayer competition. Demolition Racer will be available this fall.
With over 15 courses and 30 licensed off-road vehicles, Test Drive Off-Road 3 lets players modify their
vehicles to create the right rig for the right course. Tires, transmission and suspension are all tunable to
enhance performance. The new engine and physics model allows for destructible objects and branching
routes. Test Drive Off-Road 3 will ship this Christmas.
Test Drive Cycles is a fast-paced 3D action racing game with 24 courses and licensed motorcycles,
some of which include Moto Guzzi, Victory Polaris and Britton. An all-new feature-rich streaming
engine, maximized for high-speed graphics, will set the pace. Test Drive Cycles will be available this
holiday season.
Slave Zero is a 3D action giant robot game that gives players control of a 60-foot biomechanical war
machine 500 years in the future in a battle against rival forces throughout a vast metropolis. The city is
ruled by the SovKahn, an evil dictator who possesses a mysterious energy source used to control the
populace. The player is part of a rebellion who steals the technology to create a 60-foot slave robot and
becomes one with the giant biomechanical creature. The game will be available for PCs in July and
Sega Dreamcast in the fall.
Accolade will be showcasing a variety of racing titles at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo, including
Test Drive 6, Test Drive Off-Road 3, Test Drive Cycles, and Demolition Racer. They'll also be
demonstarting their upcoming title, Slave Zero.
Test Drive 6 is the latest in the successful racing series and includes 40 licensed cars and 30 new
courses. The game has a completely revamped physics model that gives each car a specific driving
style and handling model. As players win races, they are able to upgrade their cars, up to five upgrades
available per car. The game features interactive driving environments that include fragile objects,
unpredictable objects and shortcuts. Cars race through outdoor cafés in Paris, swerve to avoid alligators
in the Louisiana swamplands or jump over vehicles in the alleys of Hong Kong. Test Drive 6 will be
available this Christmas.
