SouthPeak announces The Dukes of Hazard
Date: May 13th
Gamers will race through Hazzard County completing missions while collecting power-ups, chasing other cars or racing
against time. Players will also be able to shoot arrows loaded with dynamite in certain areas throughout the game,
allowing players to blow out the bad guys' tires, clear the road of any obstacles, detonate bridges to lose a pursuer and
complete the missions. The PlayStation version will be released in November with the PC version appearing in stores in
January 2000.
SouthPeak Interactive has unveiled a 3D mission-based driving game called The Dukes of Hazzard: Racing For Home.
Developed by Engineering Animation, The Dukes of Hazzard: Racing For Home is being developed for the PC and
PlayStation. Gamers play as Bo or Luke Duke and seize the wheel of the indestructible General Lee or 10 other cars to
save the family farm, defend the family name and rescue Daisy, all while eluding local law enforcement authorities and
scheming villains.
