The Sims: Livin' Large
EA announced The Sims: Livin' Large, an expansion for the best-selling computer game. With the Livin' Large expansion,
people will lead their Sims through five new career paths, including the music industry and the paranormal. Fun new situations and objects will
abound. Is trash piling up? The Sims might have to deal with a roach infestation. That lantern the Sim purchased at the antique shop might
contain a genie who can grant a wish. And Sims that thrill to stargazing with the new telescope are prime candidates for alien abduction. The
add-on will also come with three new architectural modes, including retro ranch houses, gloomy castles and Vegas love pads. The user can
also combine elements from the expansion with the original game to create wild structures.
New Scenarios:
Alien abductions
Roach infestations
A chemistry set
Genie in a lantern
Fortune telling crystal ball
Exploding garden gnome
Holiday decorations
Five New Career Paths:
Musician: subway musician, piano tuner, wedding singer, lounge singer and more
Sloth: golf caddy, convenience store cashier, lifeguard and more
Paranormal: Tarot card reader, UFO investigator and more
Journalism: game reviewer, weatherman, TV show host and more
Game industry: beta tester, game designer, programmer and more
New Architecture:
Castle: Build the perfect creepy setting for the neighborhood mad scientist

Retro: A revival of the 50s-60s "mod" craze, upscale and chic, with graceful curves and a minimum of ornamentation
